Chiesi USA, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, is the U.S. affiliate of Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A., a family-owned pharmaceutical group based in Parma, Italy. It was established in 2014 through the acquisition of Cornerstone Therapeutics and develops and commercializes products for hospital, rare disease and adjacent specialty care settings. Its hospital team promotes CLEVIPREX, CUROSURF and KENGREAL; rare disease products are commercialized through Chiesi Global Rare Diseases, based in Boston.
