Use The Lobby in your AI assistant
Vocari from The Lobby is a connector for AI assistants. Add it once and your assistant can search open medical sales jobs, look up employers and their divisions, check posted pay and find upcoming events, with every answer linking back to the page on The Lobby.
The connector address
https://thelobbynetwork.com/mcp
It is a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol). It is public and read-only, and it needs no account or sign-in.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings and then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it The Lobby, paste the address above, and save. Leave the OAuth fields empty.
- In a chat, turn the connector on from the tools menu and ask, for example, “What spine sales jobs are open in Texas?”
Other assistants that accept a custom remote MCP server use the same address.
What it can do
- Search medical sales jobs (
search_jobs). Search open US medical sales jobs on The Lobby, read nightly from each employer's own careers site. - Get one job (
get_job). One open job on The Lobby in full: employer, location, posted pay and its basis, specialty, seniority, care settings, how reps are engaged (W2 or 1099) when stated, and a summary of the posting. - Find jobs like this one (
similar_jobs). Open jobs on The Lobby most like one job, at most two per employer, each with its url. - Search medical sales employers (
search_companies). Search the employers The Lobby researches: medical device, pharma, biotech, diagnostics and other companies that hire medical sales reps. - Get one employer (
get_company). One employer's page on The Lobby: overview, headquarters, open roles, where they hire, and its divisions, with the clinicians each division sells to (call points), its sales motion and products. - Open roles in one division (
division_roles). The open jobs in one division of an employer (get_company lists its divisions), newest first. - Posted pay by role (
salary_snapshot). Posted pay bands for medical sales roles: the 25th percentile, median and 75th percentile of the minimum pay employers put on job postings in the last 90 days, by role, base and OTE kept apart. - Upcoming medical sales events (
list_events). Upcoming public events on The Lobby: chapter meetups, partner webinars and hiring events, soonest first. - Get one event (
get_event). One upcoming event on The Lobby: when, where, the host, what it's about, and the url to register from.
What it won’t do
- It holds no people: no candidates, members, recruiters or contact details.
- It can’t apply for a job or register for an event. Your assistant gives you the link, and you do that on The Lobby.
- Pay figures are what employers post on job postings, not what reps earn. Most roles pay commission on top. A pay band shows only when enough companies post for that role that no one employer’s pay scale stands out.
- Paid placement plays no part in what it returns.
What we keep
For each request: which tool was called, the name the assistant gives itself, how many results came back and how long it took, with a daily code for the address it came from that can’t be traced from one day to the next. We don’t keep what was asked or the address itself. Each address can make up to 600 requests an hour. See our Privacy page and Terms.
