Why reps sell for Bioventus
Selling for Bioventus offers the agility of a right-sized organization, not a faceless healthcare giant. You are never just a number; you are backed by a close-knit culture of great people who support your growth. The company’s focused size allows you to become a true clinical expert in specialized niche products.
A day in the life of a rep
As a Bioventus rep, your day is a fast-paced mix of education, case coverage, patient support, and territory growth. You start the morning on the road, visiting specialty clinics or hospitals, where you might train staff on a therapy or work directly with a patient to set up their device. Around lunchtime, you usually host an educational presentation for physicians and PAs to walk them through clinical data, or chat with the front office to help sort out insurance and billing paperwork. The afternoon is all about business development—building relationships with existing accounts, prospecting new clinics, and managing your local inventory. Before heading home, you wrap things up by logging your field notes and planning the next day, giving you true freedom and autonomy.

Bioventus's Associate Territory Manager (ATM) program is a fast-track development incubator that transitions early-career professionals into top-tier medical device sales leaders. You join a highly structured program that blends intensive clinical onboarding and field mentorship. You work as a strategic business partner alongside a tenured, quota-bearing Territory Manager, mastering consultative selling, navigating complex market access, and providing hands-on clinical support. As you build your product expertise and clinical confidence, you take on greater ownership of account relationships and prospecting. The program is geared toward upward mobility; successful ATMs who hit their development milestones are fast-tracked into full, autonomous Territory Managers.
For career changers, clinicians - PT, OT, PA, NP, BSN
The Field Clinical Manager (FCM) role in Bioventus’s PNS division is an ideal corporate landing pad for PTs, OTs, PAs, NPs, and BSNs ready to move beyond clinic and bedside care. Instead of managing a heavy patient caseload, you can leverage your medical expertise as a peer-to-peer technical expert.
You’ll stand alongside physicians in procedures to guide device placement, educate patients, and lead clinical training for hospital staff. Partnering with the Territory Manager, your medical background gives you instant credibility and helps build deep, trusted relationships with physicians and patients alike. This field-based role swaps rigid clinic schedules for more autonomy and personal reward.
